Virginia brings fresh and innovative perspectives to inspire individuals and teams to grow profitably and productively and with greater efficacy and peace of mind. She has over sixteen years experience in senior professional management as well as 20-plus years of successful commercial sales operations and sales management experience. Prior to founding Ventures Worldwide Sàrl in 2002, Virginia held a variety of increasingly more responsible positions most recently with SITA (Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques) as Director of Sales, North America and Vice President Global Sales Development (based in Geneva, Switzerland). In addition she brings her experience and highly successful sales and sales management record with the former MCI Telecommunications and with Dun & Bradstreet.

Education, Training & Certifications:  Virginia received a Masters Degree in Business (MBA) from the Walter A. Haas School of Business, University California Berkeley and earned le certificat de langue française from the Université Paris Sorbonne. She is bilingual English-French, credentialed ICF PCC (Professional Certified Coach), Newfield Certified Coach™ (NCC™) - graduate of Newfield Network’s “Foundations of Ontological Learning - Advanced Coach Training Program,” completed Fielding Graduate University module on “Evidence Based Coaching,” and holds a certified license to administer the MRG LEA 360° and team assessments (Management Research Group (MRG) Leadership Effectiveness Analysis and certified to administer, interpret, and implement the Hogan HPI, HDS and MVPI assessments.

As an active and current ICF member who earned the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential, Virginia adheres to the ICF Code of Ethics (English) / Code de Déontologie ICF (en français).  Her coaching methodologies include the ICF Core Competencies (en) / Compétences de Base de l’ICF (fr).

Virginia belongs to a number of local and international organizations, including International Coach Federation since 2004. Member and/or participant of American International Club of Geneva (AIC), Swiss American Chamber of Commerce, Career Women’s Forum (CWF), European Professional Women’s Network and Rezonance (supporting start up enterprises in Suisse Romande). She is a co-founder and former board member of adVisio international, a global network of professional advisor consultants; and cofounder of Business Makers, business specialists supporting international growth of Swiss SME (small & medium enterprises). Virginia is affiliated with a number of worldwide executive coaching networks.

As a Venture Coach and jury member for Venture 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 & 2012 Business Plan Contests, Virginia is one of a team of professional business coaches and jury members helping young entrepreneurs develop professional business plans. Since 1998, Venture competitions have led to the founding of hundreds of new companies, creating more than 1000 new jobs. Venture Business Plan competitions are jointly organized by McKinsey Switzerland and the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. Virginia is a Founding Member of W.I.N. - Women’s International Network and Executive Coach and workshop leader of W.I.N. 2004 & 2005 Global Women’s Leadership Forum.  She is a former faculty trainer of Management Centre Europe - MCE, and an invited speaker at the local GWIT (Geneva Women in Trade) on the benefits of professional coaching.  Virginia is available for keynote talks.  Since 2007, she works with the World Economic Forum Global Leadership Fellows program as Executive Coach.

The European Coaching Federation ECC2005 Norway, selected Virginia to create and lead a workshop entitled “Catalytic Business Plan for Coaches: How to GROW your Business NOW!”  Once again Virginia presented at the ECC2007 in Helsinki, Finland in June 2007, on “Connecting European Coaches through ICF Chapters.”  Virginia was the Chair of the ICF ECC2008 Geneva - European Coaching Conference with the theme: “Connecting Worlds” in Geneva, Switzerland 26 - 28 June 2008; and co-chair of International Coaching Week 2011 (ICW2011) Geneva in February 2011 - two days of learning in English and French - “Coaching and Success Drivers.”  If you are a coach or business executive interested to know more about professional coaching, For details - visit the ICFS web
